Update on Devil's Lake, North Dakota
I flew into Fargo Thursday afternoon and then drove a long, long ways, through more corn, sunflowers, and sugarbeets than I’ve ever seen in my life. In between, there were sugarbeet, corn, and ethanol processing plants (woo hoo! Renewable energy!), and the occasional Dairy Queen. While I haven’t found WiFi anywhere (or a Starbucks, as Marc Wagner suggested), I am currently plugged into a DSL modem in the hotel’s business center. The Internet does, in fact, exist in central North Dakota. I’ll keep checking for WiFi. I’m not thinking that the Starbucks is going to happen.
